Dear Members,
If we visit any Shopping mall or TV show rooms, we find only LCD/LED flat panels with 16:9 ratio screen. Now 4:3 CRT tubes are totally obsolete.
Most of the movies tele-cast also of in 16:9 format. Many of the Channel content also slowly coming in 16:9 format.
In this reality situation why all the DTH operators are giving only 4:3 mode?
The 4:3 pictures in 16:9 mode looks awkward and horizontally stretched. If we choose piller box mode, then the side are with black bars. If we choose Zoom mode, the the bottom and top of the pictures are trimmed.
I request all DTH operators to up-scale the content to 16:9 format, so as the pictures are filled in entire screen, with proportionate pictures. At least In HD STBs they can introduce this.
Will they?
