Isn't it free of cost? Some people are posting like that they've got upgraded to hevc STB at free of cost. Is that true?? Please someone clarify me about that. Thanks

It's damn true.

No way! I already had old HD box upgraded 7 months ago by paying Rs. 999/-. Now they are asking me to pay Rs. 650 for HEVC box + 150 for Service person's visit!!. I will be moving to IS17 (waiting for my Dish)

How much cost required for IS17 dish.

I have ordered 6 feet Prime focus dish from solid for 3200 + shipping. 6 feet is available elsewhere ranging from 2500 to 3500. I couldn't find a source in Trivandrum, kerala, thus went online. Available at SP road, Bangalore for less than 3000.

How many channels come.

Number of channels on IS17(Intelsat 17 @66°E) strictly depends on the size of the dish. 6 feet is minimum, 8 feet(+ tuning skills) better and larger dish for maximum channels. Experts like Johny brother can give more info.
