Have a doubt. Does these Airtel Xtreme stb or Tata play binge+ 4k provide satellite tv live channels or from OTT apps?
live channels bro.. both are actually hybrid boxes, they both offer satellite channels and OTT apps. You can turn off wifi and use the boxes normally but tataplay has one advantage, in case of outage due to rain/storm, you can watch the channels through internet.

so far from various post this is what i have gathered

TATA PLAY binge +
pros:
Better picture quality then normal HD box if SDR to HDR turned on
Dolby Audio in all channels
Dedicated Fav channels
Can watch channels during rain outage through internet

Xtreme box:
Pros:
New model has Android 10
Better UI (subjective but it has lots of settings to fine tune)

Cons (as compared to binge+)
No dedicated LCNs for fav
New model has some bugs (like wifi connectivity, external soundbar connectivity issue)

both boxes lags too much even when wifi turn off. This could be due to compromise in hardware quality or poor software optimization

Normal TP HD box:

Faster channel switching and boot time
remote has dedicated button for Fav

picture quality is dull, pixelated as compared to binge+ box
dolby audio does not work in all channels

According to me the HD+ PVR stb has the best PQ

Actually i have Tatasky 4k box. Recharging only during IPL or world cup matches. Box is big, so always removing and reconnecting is a headache.

As the hybrid boxes are small, thought of taking.
