Videocon d2h targets 50 HD channels

DTH service provider Videocon d2h has strengthened its bouquet of HD channels and services.

With the addition of TLC HD channel, Videocon d2h now has 35 HD channels and services. Videocon d2h will continue to expand its HD channel portfolio. The company is planning to soon offer 50 HD channels and services.

They are talking in futuristic way...but the time they will be be at par with dish t with 43 channels...India will have 50 hd channels available. What we should understand from their statements that they are now aggressive in hd addition and 50 is just a projected number. This statement would have also come just to counter adtv's earlier announcement of 50 hd channels.

by the third quarter of this year we may have 50 hd channels...
d2h has 35 hd channels now but still missing ngc wild,people,music, baby tv, HBO 2 channel, &tv hd, fox life, animal planet
sms, fx tensports, neo sports/prime comedy central vh1 all in line to lauch..
so it will hit 50 soon
