Gotta agree. CBS and Viacom should never have merged.

I don't think WBD will need the CBS & Paramount Studio. They might need the library and IPs that come along with it and not the actual physical properties.

WBD definitely needs Nickelodeon. Zaslav mentioned multiple times in the last few months that they need kids programming to make Max, a four quadrant service in everyone's household.

First of all, John Malone isn't illiterate to invest in WBD if it is going for bankruptcy.

Also many publications (Hollywood) have been attacking the Discovery management since they took over the prized studio 'Warner Bros' but even Disney is following the path of WBD. Disney started licensing out unnecessary titles to Netflix which was all done by David Zaslav at WBD.

Zaslav keeps winning and ignoring the haters like a plague.

Paramount Global is definitely getting acquired by the end of 2024 or Q2 2025. Their debt to leverage ratio is high and cash flow is declining.
