Which DTH is more in your area?

In my apartment there is 36 flates.. Out of 36
24 flates using d2h
5 using tata sky
6 using airtel
1 using dish tv

seems dish flat.all are having dth great.in my flat 12 airtel 3 tatasky 1 videocon 1 reliance 1 dish tv 8 cable.

I tried searching in my office. Out of 100 people just could find 5 dish tv user, 9 airtel. Many of the airtel used moved away from airtel due to logo and channel sorting issue (that time ad5v had ess hd so that was not issue). Out of 5 dish tv just one tru hd user. Rest all sd user.

Regarding tata sky i observed one trend. First time buyers blindly trust tata sky and listen no argument. Later if they are more concerned people like our forum members and can go for next choice then they move. I am talking about mumbai pune area.

here so called local cable operater charging 200/- per month for 78 channels with poor quality
so dth is obvies choice for us ..

i think tamil nadu is so lucky.here city people pay 170 for 120+ channels,others pay 100 for 86 channels(54 are good quality).

In my area cable wala also charging Rs.200 but gives only 93 channels
so many people says cable is better as low cost
but in some area DTH is better choice
don't what will be happen after digitasation
here no reach of digital cable

in my Area 45% people have Cable tv (becoz most of punjabi channel avilable in Cable)
20 % Airtel and Dishtv each, 10% Videocon d2h & Sun Direct, Reliance(Each)
