one thing why other channels are not getting good ratings, is their programs/content not reaching.

People are not given chance to watch them... We are used to watch only Sun TV programs...

So most people don't know about other channels at all... Only after knowing about the channels they'll know about programs...

The current generation is changing... Zee and Vijay emerging in Tamil because of them...

its Malayalam there is competition and new channels are creating threats to old ones.There also new channels like Safari(Best channel in malayalam) have started new category of travel channels in the regional fields.(safari shows no ad too)
