In my area only I have active dishtv connection and only one active Sun Direct in neighbour's house otherwise d2h / TATA(SKY / airtel is popular one :k

and in my area no one have ADTV,Relience & SUN Direct :-/:lol

yes using dish tv you can watch FTA channels :-/ ,but i don't think airtel offer FTA :skd

in south India after 2010,airtel,videocon and sun direct only the major participant in marketing dth.
here most of tata sky and dish tv users are inactive customers.

:hello Its not possible to explain each and everything, as we can't judge Popularilty of DTH by seeing dish in a roof may be its a deactive one or may be that dish is realign to watch FTA :k
