Why airtel dth so popular in kerala ???????????

Yes Tata sky sale in north India is good.In Kerala(I dont know about other south Indian states)Tata sky performance is very disappointed.They deserve a good position in Kerala market because of the quality service they provide but they are failed to capture market.In Kerala Sun and d2h rule the market,airtel is also in the race.But Tata sky try to capture the market during Onam season by giving full page ads in newspapers and use super star Mohanlal for the TV ads.Tata sky is the first dth in Kerala using a Malayalam acter for the dth ads.At that time I am very impressed the innovation used by Tata Sky.Anyway good luck for Tata sky their Kerala sales.

It will take time to capture the market as Tatasky had only 4 Malayalam channels until last year.

For that Dish needs to launch channels with other language than Bengali as in whole north east very few people(Tripura and few from assam) knows bengali.

They will add more North East channel for Zing NE :k

That means d2h will over take Tata sky soon.I think Tata sky has failed to get new connections.One of my nearest dth dealer(Kerala) said that he is very disappointed with Tata sky before migrating to mpeg4 because customers call him and complaint that they have not get many popular Malayalam channels.The normal customers does not want to know whether their dth is mpeg4 or not they want only more channels.So all dth should be try add popular channels without a huge delay otherwise they will lose their base customers.

Total how many subscribers u have isn't important, the important thing is how many active subscribers u have. Dish and Tatasky is paying huge tax compared to others which means their revenue is higher compared to others as according to DTH licensing DTH operator has to submit 10% as tax of their total revenue.

Yes Brother you are absolutely right.Dish and TS are the highest tax payers in dth because of their revenue.But I am talking about the less popularity of Tata Sky in Kerala.In my opinion Tata Sky should give some attractive ads in popular Malayalam channels and in Newspapers.Look at d2h I am a big fan of d2h marketting techniques(not service).They give regular ads in TV(especially in regional channels)and newspapers and look the Mumbai Indians(we know that Mumbai is on of the team who have more fans) Jercy d2h logo in the abdomen of every players.They know how to popularise a brand.
I am also a fan of ADTV and TS because of the quality of service they provide.In my opinion who give quality they should get result according to the quality they provide.

In terms of marketing u cannot say that Tatasky is way behind as there is kareoke ad, everywhere TV ad, ladakhi girls ad, TS +HD jail break ad etc. But I must say I miss Amir khan in TS ad.

Yes Brother ts showes ads in Hindi channels,sports channels etc.But I am talking about Tata skys less ads in Malayalam channels and also in south Indian channels.In Malayalam channels d2h,dishtv and sun are leading in ads but adtv,tatasky are showes there ads only in festival seasons.

Tata Sky ads are not bad in Malayalam, it's just that D2H and Sun have lots of offers and advantages in their marketing, while Tata Sky is relying on stars and other useless features. Besides I know lots of Malayalis who used to have Tata Sky but changed to other platforms between 2011-2012 so they wouldn't go back until it's really advantageous.
