Discussion Why binge+ does not support 4096x 2160 resolution?

I noticed that airtel xstream supports 4096*2160p resolution whereas this resolution option is missing in binge+. Anyone any idea why? If I recall both boxes hardware and software vendors are same but why partiality to binge+ users

Note: I noticed this few months ago but as I was on airtel didn't highlight much. Now when back to binge+ , asking officially

i think the binge box supports that resolution bro i am on 4k right now aka 4096x2160P

If you check the box resolution settings it is showing max 3840 x 2160p 60hz...4096 not present

It will never get resolved becz the box is too fast to handle 4K videos.

It's a common doubt only. It's okay. If Airtel have this resolution, how we feel it. We want the same resolution TV also, Bro.

Binge plus is capable of providing all the resolutions provided by OTT or TV channels in India...no OTT has more than 3840×2160p resolutions...
Then nothing to worry about...

Check resolution settings ...there u should enable 4k 2160p 50hz..

In Youtube also when we are selecting 4k Quality it's getting struck and resolution coming back to 1080
