why sd boxes don't have recording facility

hi all

as i am a d2h customer, i just wanted to ask u guys y they don't have recording option in sd boxes.

adtv, dish tv n sun direct have recording facilities options in normal sd boxes.
adtv charges 15rs/month n both dish tv n sun direct r free for recording facilities.

Hmm.. The recording in HD box is also introduced recently only. From their offers, it seems they are marketing HD and 4K boxes only even for SD packages. I am not sure if they are going to introduce recording in SD boxes.

And, whether TS is providing recording in SD boxes? Not bothering about RDTV..

TS don't provide recording via usb in HD boxes too. Only dvr can record in TS.
