Zee TV has announced its partnership with the North American Bengali Conference (NABC) to launch Zee Bangla channel in the US. The channel will officially be launched at the Conference, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 6-8.
The channel’s line-up will feature a wide variety of programming for Bengali audiences across age groups.
Commenting on this development, Suresh Bala, CEO, Zee TV Americas said, “NABC is known as the premier event for the Bangla Diaspora and we are happy to partner with the Cultural Association of Bengal (CAB). The Conference serves as the prefect platform to launch our premium offering – Zee Bangla.”
Zee will promote Zee Bangla by organising different conference booths. Each booth will be filled with interactive activities. For instance, one booth will feature a green screen where visitors can take a picture of themselves with Mithun Chakraborty and Saurab Ganguly. The keepsake will be customised with the Zee Bangla logo.
Commenting on Zee’s participation at NABC, Tapan Sen, Head – Marketing and Communications, CAB said, “We are thrilled to partner with Zee to help promote NABC 2012, Las Vegas. Zee Bangla is sure to be a hit amongst the conference attendees.”
To consolidate the audience, all conference attendees will be able to subscribe to Zee Bangla and will get a chance to win iPads. Zee will also raffle a grand prize of three lifetime subscriptions to Zee Bangla.
