Sad News Zee Classic will be replaced by New channel Zee Bollywood

No rebrands, I want shut down of Zee Action along with Zee Anmol Cinema.

I mean instead of Zee classic they have to convert Zee action to Zee Bollywood.

Zee classic was airing 100% Bollywood movies, so what's the use of replacing pure Bollywood Channel with another one, just the library of this channel will be relatively new movies. Can't understand the strategy Zee classic is very good channel, they could have replaced that CRAP Zee Action. There is no point running that bogus Channel

The company has been contemplating about launching an HD variant of Zee Classic for quite some time. Over 70% of the channel’s library is HD-ready. However, the biggest challenge in launching an HD variant of Zee Classic is the fact that a lot of old movies are not available in HD format

Viewers can watch movies all day under time bands that speak the Bollywood lingo such as - Mere Sat-Sun Aayenge (Sat and Sun 9pm), Subhah Ho Gayi Mamu (Mon-Fri 10:30am), Dopehar Ka Tadka (Mon- Fri 2pm), Chalti Hai Kya 9 se 12 (Mon-Fri 9pm), Raat Baaki (Mon-Fri 12am) and Maa Kasam Sunday Hai (Sun 10:30am, 2pm, 5pm).

What happened was the ministry permission for a new channel is a very slow process. We got this demand for Bollywood from consumers. So, because getting permission is not an easy task, we had to use Zee Classic's license to launch Zee Bollywood."

Zee Bollywood has divided its content offering into four categories – 101% Shuddh Romance, 101% Shuddh Comedy, 101% Shuddh Panga and 101% Shuddh Drama. The channel will not premiere new movies and will restrict itself to masala Bollywood movies from existing ZEEL’s movie library.
The channel’s library comprises of films like Chennai Express, Jab we Met, Phir Hera Pheri, Houseful, Welcome, Agneepath, Josh, Gadar, Lagaan, Judaai and Raja Hindustani, amongst others.

Already these movies running in zee cinema and and pictures
Instead they would have changed name zee cinema to zee bollywood

Shudh Bollywood clearly indicates that they will convert Zee cinema into south dubbed movies and &Pictures will continue telecasting Hollywood dubbed movies regularly.
