Zee open to merger & acquisitions: Punit Goenka

With the evolving media landscape and increasing competition, is Zee open to revisiting merger discussions with Sony or exploring other strategic partnerships?
My door is always open for every opportunity that will generate value for the company. If a proposition is brought to me, we will sit down, debate it, and carefully evaluate the key pros and cons—whether it’s an acquisition, a merger, or Zee acquiring someone else.

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) order was crystal clear on every allegation made. The Sebi, of course, has the right to investigate, and they should. I fully stand by the law of the land and will comply with whatever the regulator ultimately decides.

Some one should explain Goenka that Sony is the best and perfect, Relationship of Sony and Zee is the best relationship in the media industry both are incomplete without eachother goenka should realise this , if I were Zee then I would have try to solve all disputes and after solution, I would have ask the Sony for merger , Goenka should try to retain trust of Sony which fallout after the SEBI report.

Zee5 had so much potential which is goner now. They went from having strong regional originals to unwatchable show.

Goenka's greed will be the downfall of Zee. The merger was on the verge of completion but collapsed due to his ambition to become CEO. Zee's board of directors should limit Goenka's influence to facilitate a smoother merger in the future.
