Low cost HD channels,no DTH operator want to waste bandwidth as they get only 20 to 40 percent profit in that channel,but for those Rs 5 price channel lot of bandwidth is consumed,for that bandwidth they can launch many SD channels.I think it clarifies your doubt.

Then how they are providing other low cost channels like mtv beats HD, nat Geo wild hd, tlc hd etc.?

Zee Picchar is now overpriced with Rs.15/-. It doesn't even deserve Rs.5 /-.

2 years back it was just Rs.3/- and now it costs Rs.15/-, which is nothing but 400% increase.
