Let's compare Zee/Sony merger with Star/Disney(UTV) merger from 20th March,2019.
Let's observe changes they made..so we get clear idea of wht nee Sony,Zee merger looks ..points would be on rebranding,adding , cancellation of channles

They concentrated more on international rollout nd on sports..other remain same.
Only1 rebranding, 2 shutdowns happend, 3 new channel's got launched.
Star films/library telecasted on UTv movies..UTV Hollywood dubs came into star gold nd star Utsav.

After ZEEL and Sony Merge, Mukesh Ambani/Reliance industries should launch own Television Entertainment Channels, nowadays Viacom 18 too weak hope Mukesh will sold Stakes to some other broadcaster or Parent Viacom.

He should launch regional gec channels in Telugu and Malayalam

If by rebranding you mean changing logos and graphics, then there were several: Star Pravah, Star Gold, Star Maa, Star Suvarna, as well as Star Jalsha just a month before the acquisition by Disney.

I don't know abt NAt music channel..nd abt rebranding..thy just changed logos..moviesOK to stargold 2.its still movies channel...no changes..other channel s rebranding like star maa, suvarna etc happend before 2019 by FOX owned star india..

I guess Viacom parent company won't support decision of Reliance in india, Jio/Reliance industries more Aggressive when it comes to Digital, Sports and Production, So I was expecting Sports/Regional Television network from Reliance/Mukesh Ambani

I think they will maintain two brands separately for their tv channels for 1 yr or 2 yr.
