Advertisers look into very details when it comes to buying adslots, they dont just check top 10 overall channels.

First they check who are their target consumers and then they check which channels are actually getting higher viewership from their target cobsumers and only then they decides adrates.

For ex Car advertisers will check urban/ metrocities 15+ viewership of channels and only then they will place their ads & decide adrates.

I dont think any advertiser will place their product just based on top 10 overall channels as it doesnt guarantee that your product will reach to you targetted consumers.
Obviously, but where is SET or Zee tv dominance? Star plus & Colors rules Urban and Dangal & Goldmine are in Rural.

If this is the benchmark then colors must register more profit than sony & sony is in loss, but that's not the case. Except hindi market, colors is not strong in any market, sun tv is nothing outside south, they spent huge money in promotion for sun bangla but didn't do any good.
STAR plus & Colors have rich content with high viewership, not for profits. Sun is a leader in Tamil have highest viewers after Hindi.

Sun is a leader in Tamil doesn't means they rule the whole south. Yes there was a time earlier. They were No:1 in 3 languages and a strong no:2 in one market. The sister channels also shined in the charts then. Now their flagship channels itself out from top 5 charts in 2 markets.

Why are you taking only hindi market into consideration?? Just look at the bigger picture from every perspective.

viacom18's viewership share is not even upto 10% whereas Zee-sony combine overall viewership share is about 26.7% so obiviously they are winning everywhere.

If you are talking abt hindi market then leave star plus as its way ahead of its competitors, just take a look at overall viewership of sab tv & colors tv. Except bigg boss times most of time sab tv is ahead of colors with help of low incestment shows.

once sony-zee merges with each other they will force advertisers to look at their overall share in hindi market (including all movie channels as well as GECs). So advertisers will have no other choice except to agree with their demands.

The Zee stakeholder meeting was supposed to happen today (14th). What happened to that?
