MIB cancels Kavali Entertainment Network MSO registration; rejects 3 applications for MSO license
Three MSO applications rejected by MIB in past month for supressing vital piece of information.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has cancelled the MSO registration of Kavali Entertainment Network Private Limited in February 2022. The Ministry in the past month has also rejected three applications for a new MSO license.
Andhra Pradesh based Kavali Entertainment Network Private Limited on 6th September 2021 surrendered it’s MSO registration vide an email. The Ministry in continuation of the email on 17th February 2022 cancelled the MSO registration of the company.
The Ministry additionally rejected the MSO application of SSV Cable Private Limited, Anil Kumar Singh, and Sai Enterprise for the suppression of vital information. The application of Anil Kumar Singh and Sai Enterprise was rejected on 3rd March 2022 whereas that of SSV Cable Private Limited was rejected on 24th February 2022.
In other news, MIB recently granted fresh MSO registrations to 12 entities during February 2022 and the first three weeks of March 2022 as per the Registered MSOs list published by the Ministry.
