The disclosure was made in the Ministry’s monthly significant activities report submitted to the Cabinet on Wednesday.

The total number of private satellite TV channels permitted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) for up-linking and downlinking in the country as of 31st March 2022 stood at 902. The total number of private satellite TV channels at the end of 28th February 2022 also stood at 902.
