The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) recently revoked the MSO registration suspension of Meghbela Infintel Cable & Broadband. The Ministry also stated that two more MSO registrations expired last month, in addition to what was disclosed earlier this month.

Delhi-based Multi System Operator (MSO) Meghbela Infintel Cable & Broadband Private Limited’s registration was suspended on 8th April 2022 by MIB and other 276 MSOs.

The Ministry, on 8th July 2022, revoked the MSO registration suspension for the company. MIB has revoked six MSO registration suspensions out of the 277 till 18th July 2022.

The MSO registration of two more MSOs expired last month as per MIB. Micro Multivision and Satellite Channels Private Limited’s MSO registration granted on 29th June 2012 expired on 28th June 2022.

As such, 8 MSO registrations have expired as per MIB, including that of Indusind Media and Communication Limited, which expired on 29th September 2016.
