NXTDigital expands footprint across India with 40 new NXTHubs
The NXTHubs launched electronically across 13 states are equipped with the latest advanced digital distribution system (ADDS).

NXTDigital, the media arm of the Hinduja Group has launched 40 NxtHubs across India and along with a value-added app for its last-mile owners or cable operators. The integrated digital distribution company offers digital cable, Headend-In-The-Sky (HITS), broadband, content and teleshopping.
Earlier in August this year, the company had launched a pilot in Ranchi under the “Umeedo ki Udaan” tagline. Now, on Thursday at an event in Hyderabad, the new 40 NXTHubs were launched electronically across 13 States, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, amongst others.
The NXTHubs are owned and operated by the company itself. They are equipped with the latest advanced digital distribution system (ADDS) that distributes over 650 digital TV services received via satellite to cable operators and their customers.

HITS operator downlinks and encrypts all TV channels at a common facility and then uplinks them to a satellite (head-end in the sky) which are beamed back to various digital cable head-ends for distribution to consumers through cable.
This plug-and-play solution eliminates the need to invest in headend and related technology and allows cable operators to go digital. Apart from video and broadband, these Nxthubs are future-ready to offer a slew of additional services like OTT and WiFi. For this financial year, a total of 100 such Nxthubs are planned by the company.
