Direct to Home (DTH) operator Sun Direct on Friday boosted its Rest of India offerings with the addition of 5 new channels on its platform including Gujarati, Bhojpuri, and Hindi channels. VTV News, B4U Bhojpuri, and Colors Gujarati Cinema are the five channels that have been added by Sun Direct. Out of the 5 additions, 4 are Free to Air (FTA) channels whereas 1 is a Pay channel.
VTV News is available at LCN 749, B4U Kadak is available at LCN 350, TV9 Gujarati is available at LCN 748, B4U Bhojpuri is available at LCN 708 and Colors Gujarati Cinema is available at LCN 745. The updates came courtesy of our community forum member Cheziyan.
Out of the 5 additions 3 channels are Gujarati, with 1 each Bhojpuri and Hindi. The channels were tested early morning yesterday before the addition on Sun Direct platform.
VTV News and TV9 Gujarati are Gujarati news channels whereas Colors Gujarati Cinema is the lone Gujarati cinema channel. B4U Bhojpuri is a Bhojpuri movie channel while B4U Kadak is a Hindi movie channel with an extensive library of Hindi dubbed movies.
In other news, Sun Direct has changed the LCN of DD Retro and ABP Asmita on its platform. DD Retro has been moved from LCN 350 to LCN 351 while ABP Asmita has been moved from LCN 743 to LCN 747.
