After having rolled out the Xstream Thanks Offer initially in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad, Airtel Digital TV has yesterday made the discount offer on Airtel Xstream Box valid all over the country. The move comes near the launch of Tata Sky’s Android STB Binge+ which is expected to launch this week.

The offer continues to be a limited period offer and is only for Airtel Thanks customers. Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata are the major cities in which the offer is available.

The offer is also available in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Baba Bakala, Beas, Bhikiwind, Bhopal, Bundala Amritsar, Chabhal, Chohla Sahib, Cochin, Dera Baba Jaimal Singh, Dombivali, Fatehbad, Harike, Howrah, Jaipur, Jandiala Guru, Kalyan, Kanchipuram, Kanpur, Kathu Nangal, Khadur Sahib, Khem Karan, Khilchian, Loni, Lucknow, Mehta, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Patti, Phagwara, Pimpri Chincwad, Rayya, Sarai Amanat Khan, Sarhali, Tarn Taran, Thane, Titwala, Varanasi, Verka and Vishakapatnam are the cities in which it is also available.

Airtel is promoting the offer through its Airtel app by pushing notifications and pop-up banners to eligible customers.

The offer, however, continues to come with a rider as we had earlier reported. Customers will only get a 7-day free trial in Rs 2249. By default, a plan in the range of Rs 687-Rs 710 will be assigned as the monthly plan depending on the region instead of the normal Rs 360 Airtel Bundle.

The Airtel bundle differs from region to region. In Bengaluru, the Airtel Bundle costs Rs 687. In Hyderabad, it costs Rs 710. In Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai, it costs the same as Delhi-NCR. The monthly plan can be changed at any point of time.

The total cost of the connection will be Rs 2249 which offers a 1-year warranty worth Rs 100 and Airtel Xstream app free for 1 year worth Rs 999 as an introductory offer. The new connection will be installed and activated within 48 hours.

The 7-day Mega HD pack trial will provide 154 channels and contains 54 HD, 22 Hindi News, 11 Kids, 10 Hindi Entertainment, 10 News, 10 Hindi Movie, 7 Music, 6 Infotainment, 4 Sports, 4 Urdu, 2 Punjabi, 2 Gujarati, 2 North East, 2 Bhojpuri, 1 English Movie, 1 Tamil, 1 Telugu, 1 Malayalam, 1 Kannada, 1 Marathi, 1 Bengali, and 1 Oriya channel.

Five days back, new customers in Delhi NCR were having to select an Airtel bundle of Rs 699 instead of the normal Rs 360 bundle if availing this offer. The total cost of the new connection for them was Rs 2785 which offered a 1-year warranty worth Rs 100 and Airtel Xstream app free for 1 year worth Rs 999 as an introductory offer.

The Xstream box continues to be available at Rs 3639 for non-Airtel Thanks customers. Users wishing to buy it have to select an Airtel bundle as well which takes the price up to Rs 3999.

The offer has been already been live for the last 5 days across Delhi NCR and is now available all across India. Airtel has sounded the bugle for extreme competition as Tata Sky Binge+ gets closers to its launch. There is no ending date on the limited period offer.
