Direct To Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky on Thursday launched ‘HD PVR Big Sale’ under which it has slashed prices of its PVR Recording set-top box connection called Tata Sky+ HD by 46% and for existing customers it also reduced the upgrading and multi-TV cost for this box by up to 49%.
According to the listing on Tata Sky website, new Tata Sky+ HD connection can now be purchased at just Rs 4,999 instead of its earlier price of Rs 9,300 with a discount of Rs 4,301 or 46%.
“In HD PVR-Big Sale, the HD PVR or HD+ set top box will be sold for Rs. 4999 for new connections. For Multi TV and upgrade it will cost Rs. 4499. The offer will start from 2nd July 2020 and will be applicable until further notification.”

Price for Tata Sky+HD multi-TV connection is reduced to almost half of its earlier cost. Existing customers who want to get Tata Sky+ HD multi TV connection will have to pay Rs 4,499 only with a discount of Rs 4,401 or 49%. Previously, the multi TV cost for this set-top box was Rs 8,900.
Similarly, the price for upgrading to Tata Sky+ HD has also been dropped. The company has now made the upgrade and multi TV cost equal at Rs 4,499. The old upgrading charge was Rs 5,999 which is now reduced by Rs 1,500 under ‘HD PVR Big Sale’.
Tata Sky+ HD is the only set-top box from the company which allows recording of any show from live TV. It offers a cinematic experience with a 1080i resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio with Dolby Digital Surround Sound. The set-top box also comes with an in-built 500 GB hard disk to record your favourite shows and movies.
The HD PVR Big Sale prices are applicable on all orders placed across any official channel including retail stores, Tata Sky website or Tata Sky customer care. As of now, Tata Sky has not revealed the last date to avail this offer.
