Airtel Digital TV launched 12 pack in August & reduced Super Star Pack price

New Delhi- DTH operator Airtel Digital TV has launched around 12 new packs last month for its subscribers. Most of the packs are for the regional markets. The new packs are Kerala SD Pack, Karnataka SD Pack, Karnataka SD Plus Pack, DEL Super Star Dhamaka, Tamil Nadu SD Pack, Kerala Superstar Ultimate 1398 for 6 months upfront SD Pack, Kerala HD Pack, Andhra Pradesh SD Pack, Dabang Sports Pack, and Tamil Nadu HD Pack.

The new Dabang Sports Pack offers Sony TEN 3, Sony BBC Earth and Sony Yay! channels along with all other channels of previous Dabang Pack. Dabang Sports Pack is priced at Rs 290 whereas the Dabang Pack costs Rs 280 but doesn’t carry Sony BBC Earth and Sony TEN 3.

Kerala Pack priced at Rs 185 doesn’t carry any pay Kids channel. National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild are available in the pack. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00531. Star Sports 3, Star Sports 2, Star Sports 1, DD Sports and Star Sports First are the Sports channels available in the pack. The pack also contains all SD Malayalam channels along with the free South channels.

Its HD counterpart pack Kerala HD is priced at Rs 242. National Geographic HD is the Infotainment channel available in the pack. Star Sports 3, Star Sports 2 HD, Star Sports 1 HD, DD Sports, and Star Sports First are the Sports channels available in the pack. The pack also contains Asianet HD, Mazhavil Manorama HD and all Malayalam channels along with the free South channels. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00532.

Karnataka SD Pack is priced at Rs 195. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00462. The pack contains no pay Kids and Infotainment channels. DD Sports is the only sports channel in the pack. The pack contains 19 Kannada channels along with the free South channels.

Karnataka SD Plus Pack is priced at Rs 202. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00461. Nick, Nick Junior, and Sonic are the Kids channel in the pack. Infotainment channels in the pack are Living Foodz, History TV18, FYI TV18, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild. Star Sports 3, Star Sports 2, Star Sports 1 Kannada, DD Sports, and Star Sports First are the Sports channels available in the pack. The pack contains 20 Kannada channels along with the free South channels.

DEL SuperStar Dhamaka pack is priced at Rs 158 per month. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00571. The pack contains Zee TV, &tv, Big Magic, Zee Anmol, Colors Rishtey, Bindass, Star Utsav, Zee Cinema, Zee Bollywood, Zee Action, &pictures, UTV Movie, UTV Action, Colors Cineplex, Sony Wah, Star Utsav Movie, Zee News , Aajtak, News 18, NDTV , Zee Business, Tez , Zee ETC, Zing, Living Foodz along with other free channels.

Tamil Nadu SD Pack is priced at Rs 170. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00541. Compared to Tamil Nadu SD Plus Pack the pack is only missing Star Sports 1 Tamil. The pack contains only Tamil channels including other language free channels. The pack contains no paid Infotainment, Sports, and Kids channels.

Tamil Nadu HD Pack is priced at Rs 260. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00542. The pack contains 34 Tamil channels, 13 Telugu channels, 9 Hindi News channels, 7 Malayalam channels and 6 HD channels along with other channels. Zee Tamil HD, KTV HD, Sun TV HD, Sun Music HD, Vijay TV HD, and Living Foodz HD are the HD channels in the pack.

Kerala Superstar Ultimate is priced at Rs 1398 for 6 Months upfront SD Pack. The SMS code for the pack is ABP03831. The pack also contains all Malayalam channels along with the free South channels. Maa Gold, Maa Music, Vissa TV, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 2, Star Sports 3 are not available in this pack. Andhra Pradesh HD pack is priced at Rs 294. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00477. It only contains Gemini HD, Zee Telugu HD, Zee Cinemalu HD, Living Foodz HD. Andhra Pradesh SD Plus Pack priced at Rs 208. The SMS code for the pack is ABP00475. The pack contains the majority of the Telugu SD channels.

Airtel has also reduced the price of its Tamil SuperStar Pack to Rs 199. The pack contains major Tamil channels. Sun TV group, Raj TV group, Jaya TV group, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Zee Tamil, Star Vijay Group, Puthiya Thalamurai, and Polimer channels are available in the pack.
