With so many Tamil chnls ( 42 :skd) they shud move hindi GEC back, and start tamil channels from lcn 101. :hehe :shy

See this thread is somewhat correct,airtel processed to add new tamil channels in their platform,but it is not 20,it is 12 channels.
That is 30( now available)+12(new channels)=42...
Those channels are
1)Sun tv hd
2)Sun music hd
3)Sun life
4)K tv hd
5)Raj digital plus
6)Raj musix
7)Polimer news
8)Captain tv
9)kalaigner chithiram
10)Sathiyam news
11)Mega musiq
12)Airtel tamil movies(VOD)

Get this list from airtel marketing team

Channel addition depends on DTH own policy & competition. So if TS adds channels then expect ADTV to add atleast that much to stay ahead in competition/numbers. I think ADTV wants to grab max no of customers from TN, so the addition.
Same with other DTH so more or less it may take time to add channel after addition by others but its sure.... to stay relevant in market unless someone like RDTV.....
