5.1 Sound HD Receiver

Dear All,

Will any one enlighten this form of Airtel, how to receive 5.1 surround sound from HD Receiver, what is the requirement and gadgets need to have to feel 5.1 surround sound as AIRTEL is mentioning.

Connect Airtel HD Stb optical out to HT optical in
Speaker set up as per dolby

advanced speakers coming with wall setup,you can hold all speakers in left and right side of your tv.it will produce 5.1 as well as 7.1 virtual surround.

I believe to get 5.1 Surround Sound from HD Receiver require to connect in S/PDIF Coaxial slot & other end in 5.1 speakers main unit (Woofer) slot in, needs your precious reply.

Can we have DD 5.1 with speakers fitted in false ceiling?

For best result it shall be in the same level of the listener's ear

Generally, 2 speakers are placed on the back wall ( close to d ceiling as well) to give realistic sounds to over d head things, like helicopters etc.
