Good news for dd direct viewers.

No very bad news for dd direct user. Here is reasons.
1. Presently dd direct charge more carriage fee, so regional channels will not bid.
2. Good FTA channels are present on all major dth so they already reached max. Audience [like news channels]
3. Most important is digitization, now cable operator will provide more fta channels for free of carry fee hence why FTA channels pay more money to dd.

if they reduce their EMD from 2.27 crore then some channel will be willing to be added on dd direct plus platform
