can we expect without add break indian channels in future? now every channels show min: 5 to 10 min add including HD channels.
it was very disturbing .

All pay channels should not telecast ads. I think there has one such suggestion from govt some years back,but not heard anything about it later on.

But I would prefer to go with HBO premium channels,Star gold hitz,Sony max superhitz.
In between serials ads are ok to me. Reason is simple,I dont watch serials.But inbetween film its irritating thing. So I would love to pay for movie channels (Standard channels like Star gold , HBO etc)

12 Minutes advertisement concept is only for products by which channel can't advertise a particular product more than 12 minutes in an hour.

By advertising a particular product more than 12 minutes will create a monopoly in the market which means there will a single seller and many buyer. Ultimately it'll lead to death of competition because customers will watch only those advertisements which will pay higher to the channels.

and yes advertisement can be reduced to 5 minutes also but for that channels will demand for high fees. And by doing this product companies have to allocate more budget for marketing :tup

Yes Ads are now increasing even On HD Channels :'(
I too Noticed it on Sony :HD, Star Gold :hd

That's the Reason, These days i prefer recording.

MAny times i start Watching A show 7-10 minutes late, so that I can Skip ads :k:lol
