What you think that only you read? Nothing is clear from that screenshot. It only says we can schedule to remove. I can't see schedule option but remove option only. I cannot assume option which is not in screenshot. If remove option itself is 'scheduled to remove' then wording need to be changed by airtel.

Buddy, where did i say that only i read and others don't. I just said that maybe u did not try to understand or pay attention to meaning of what was stated in screenshot. It clearly gives u option to select "remove" option which would automatically fix/schedule removal of the concerned channel once 30 day lock in period gets over. What's the confusion here? All things mentioned/explained quite clearly .

Can you quote(clause no) the earlier regulations which didn't allow and new regulation which allowed 30 days lock-in. I am looking for source of any such regulation if any.

Buddy i would have to do some research on it. But i am sure that previously it was not allowed and now that operators r implementing it then surely it would have been permitted in amended regulations

No hurry. Take you time.

As of now it stands that there is no specific regulations for lock in period.
Regulation says customer must have freedom to make their own pack.

In my opinion, 30 days lock-in period infringes upon the rights of customer to reduce the monthly cost of their pack. Airtel users should mail their concern to trai.

Buddy u can also do the research if u have time at hand.

Had 30 day lock in been previously allowed then operators would have implemented it right from date when NTO 1.0 came into effect.

I agree that 30 day lock in causes customers to unnecessarily subscribe to channels and pay more as they won't be watching content on the said channels thru the month.

Today I added one channel and then tried to delete but got this lock in period message. So we can change broadcasters bouquets and combo plans but only the individual channels have the lock in period.

No, Dish D2H had 30 days lock in period earlier. Also, NTO 2.0 changes were implemented by DTH operators at first deadline, only provisions related to broadcasters were pending.
