As much as I am "upset" here. I am 100% confident that others will follow suit. Airtel will face the wrath for starting the trend specially during a transitional period. They could've waited for a month or two.

That channel is meant for add and drop purposes only. Others including sports channels like Sony Ten 1, Eurosport, Sports18 or even Star Sports Select 1 HD can be also watched on daily basis. This channel doesn't have fresh content most of the month. Atleast put some show like SportsCentre to make the channel worth the month.

Yeah. But, I'm really getting sick of the things happening in this industry. What will stops other operators also to follow the same path ? I think it's better not to invest in another Digital TV product till the industry stabilises.

What happens if we remove before expiry of 30d ? Do they refund ? Or atleast does the channel still play for 30d or do they loot the money ?

Activate sports pack on match day, then change your plan when match gets over. I think it may help to reduce bill.
