This problem is world over and not only restricted to India. In UK, Sky platforms did not carry the BT Sport channels in the first year. Same issues are in US also. So can't complain about this. Viewers are always the real losers.

but bro.. as a viewer y shud i pay for this?
den networks providing all the channels @just 300rs. can't dth provides?
i don't want 500 channels+services, i just want 100 valuable channels.

true bro. but everytime v cannot invest huge amt. on CPEs. if a new channel is coming then it shud automatically be added on the respective dth.
if v move on like this- u r saying dth will lose customer as well as revenue.
by doing this i ll loose all my bank balance.

if i feel d2h is not good 4 me but still i have to stick to that, its never easy to change dth. the procedure is very hard. n bro what about the walls of the terrace ?

I am not saying that we should move to other brand whenever we are not satisfied. And I am not talking about the channel availability since DTH can easily add the channels if both channel and DTH is coming to an agreement and if space is available.

But I am talking in the quality part where it will take time for the DTH to increase the quality.

It's your choice as to whether you choose mso or dth but given the issues that mso R having with broadcasters, it's a risk very few would like to take.

Why can't you go with Den bro? Digitization is not limited to DTH. I originally thought of selecting MSO instead of D2H or any DTH. Since the digitization is a politics in Chennai and no guarantee for the future with current MSO, I selected D2H. Otherwise, I would have gone with SCV, Chennai based MSO. Even SCV is providing 37 HD channels with superb quality. But still I am not going for them considering the future of them. So, the choice depends based on various factors.

I came to know about the Digitization only by 2011. If you are not getting quality services from 2005, then how come it is a problem of only D2H (where we started the discussion about its PQ and endup in digitization)?

If you think only D2H is the problem, then please don't blame digitization. If you think the entire digitization is not completed with quality, then don't blame D2H alone.

:angry i still can't go with mso as i don't have choice among different msos :wall the temporarily non availability of channels is the main reason that i cannot use mso - den. in india nothing is perfect.

So surprisingly d2h falling in the category of rdtv and sun hd as the only 3 dth not adding these two channels on its launch date!!

digitization ordinance was passed in way back 1998 but it implemented in the year 2003 n it executed in 2004. i m really feeling bad that i m a part of digitization.
its not limited to d2h only but i took d2h with a lot of expectations but there is a difference in the then existed d2h n now.
