Discussion Audio issues on XStream Smart box [SOLVED]

I am not getting dolby audio on xstreme box regardless whether its a HD channel nor netflix nor in prime Video. I kept the audio mode in auto. When i connect internet stb to home theater dolby audio is coming but xstreme only gives pcm.Can some one guide on this

I have also been using the Xstream Box. The Prime Video android interface is somewhat tricky. On any content page, it does not show the options for Stereo or Dolby Digital or DD Plus options as we can see in Fire Tv page.
Xstream Box interface only shows supporting audio formats, but in reality it fails to deliver the promised audio.

I am fed up with Xstream Box.
For OTT Content, I simply use fire tv stick 4K.

HD channels and Netflix are working fine with proper Dolby for me. Issue is only with Prime video.

Amazon Prime supports 5.1 audio in airtel xstream box if i am casting through chromecast from mobile app. But it is supporting for few titles only. I recently watched crawl movie by casting from mobile app. I found 5.1 working fine in my yamaha HT. But inbuilt prime video app still not supporting 5.1 audio.

Try "The Intruder" and see if it works with Dolby via Chromecast.

Yes the film works Dolby via Chromecast Sir if the film is in Dolby its works in Dolby audio through Chromecast

Guys, I'm little confused on the audio part of Airtel Xstream stb here.

Many say that it is not giving 5.1 on Amazon Prime. Does it mean that its not showing 5.1 on the title or even if it shows the 5.1 option for a title, the home theatre or Soundbar is not giving 5.1 output.

My LG soundbar is SL8YG. In amazon prime app, for most titles, 5.1 is shown on TV and soundbar also says Dolby Audio. How to verify if its really dolby audio or not here.

Also, I just found that in Netflix, it's even showing Dolby Atmos for few titles recently. I remember it's not there earlier for the same titles.

Would be thankful if someone clears this 5.1 sound issue. Thanks in advance.

The output isn't 5.1, though it shows the same on home theater. You can check this by listening to the rear speakers, if you have those. If you just have a sound bar, it's tough to check. For Netflix, there's no such issue.
