P.O.W. is not available on Hotstar. Someone on YouTube commented that the show was removed from OTT because it was banned for hurting sentiments of a particular community. Is this true?

I guess it was remake of international show. Rights must be expired.

No they expired rights of adaption of pow from original israel tv network so they removed from hotstar
Same happened with sumit sambhal lega star expired right of adapation of everybody loves raymond nd then sony acquired rights nd rerun during lockdown

Hindi GEC's should start remaking turkish tv shows as they have similar culture nd moral values like indian culture( thats the reason dubbed version of ipkknd become mega hit in turkey that it revived one dead channel) plus atleast they have good storyline show with longest duration so producing higher no. Of epi will not be problem for indian producers

Thats why i said this....im fedup of saas bahu shows
Even though Turkish shows have longer duration but they still have good storyline plus they are very family oriented nd they never lost plot in long run

Can someone make a list of Star network shows and their remakes across Star Vijay, Maa, Plus/Bharat, Suvarna, Asianet, Jalsha and Pravah? I am especially interested in Sreemoyee (Star Jalsha) and Pandian Stores (Star Vijay) and their remakes.

In Bengali GEC, we have Zee Bangla's Korunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, Kadombini, Khirer Putul, and Star Jalsha's Kharkuto, Mahapith Tarapith, Prothoma Kadombini, which are NOT saas bahu sagas.
But because of budget, we have not witnessed supernatural thrillers like Nazar in Bengali domain.
As for artistic screenplay, without melodrama, we had Star Jalsha's Mahanayak (became highly controversial and successful), based on legendary Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, and a thriller, Bhumikonya, which wasn't successful though.
Still need the DSJZ, POW, comedy type shows.
