Star Bharat and &TV are now doing shows which can be dubbed into regional languages (Bangla Marathi Tamil Telugu Kannada Malayalam), so they cover up the cost and most probably are on profit side.
Example, Star Bharat's Radhakrishna,
&TV's Paramavatar Shree Krishna and Ek Mahanayak Dr B.R. Ambedhkar.

Even the exact opposite of this happened. Netaji of Zee Bangla got dubbed in Hindi and aired in &TV.

Not good bro.
Last week it got only 1.1 for weekdays and 1.6 for weekend. Even other channel's serials at same slot are performing better than BB14, like YHC got 2.1 at 10:30PM. This year BB is totally flop.

Even the exact opposite of this happened. Netaji of Zee Bangla got dubbed in Hindi and aired in &TV.

Because that was a serial on a notable historical figure.

Why don't they dub Radha krishna and many other successful show in Marathi on star Pravah, at least in afternoon slot.. Now star is doing really well,, dubbed shows will really help them to grow.. Colors marathi already started Nagin and Shani in there afternoon slot

Now the channel is developing, let them settle with the new shows at 6pm and 10pm,
Then they may think of launching noon shows or evening shows!
Star Pravah has long way to go, they have to launch non fiction shows and reality shows as well!

Because hindi GEC's large viewership comes from maharashtra....in MH most of ppl understands hindi so thats why MH ppl watch hindi gec so channel knows here most of ppl have already watched these shows in hindi so there is no need of dubbing....plus few yrs back star pravah dubbed mahadev nd mahabharat for evening slot but they didnt get viewership so they off aired it within 20-30 epi so from these we can assume that in MH most of ppls have already watched these shows

Still Marathi channels viewership is more then hindi channels. Star Pravah is no.1 channel of Maharashtra, i guess Star Plus may Or may not getting half of its ratings in MH.
Hindi channels viewership comes from mumbai as it is cosmopolitan city and many Hindi people live there.

Why you always gets diff meaning.....what im saying is mh is no.1 contributor to hindi gec!! im not saying hindi channels gets much more viewership than marathi channel....its maharashtra so its obivious marathi channels will get higher viewership than hindi channels!! But hindi channels gets viewership from most of north states thats how they gets higher impression and in that mh is no.1 contributor!!
I haven't said anywhere that hindi gec is getting more viewership than marathi channel in MH so dont compare them

Listen First thing Maharashtra is not a North Indian state. Earlier it was a South Indian state but after 1950 when States formed it became a Western State. But culturally Maharashtra is close to South India more with Karnataka and less with Andhra. (May be you dont know this as you may be hindi speaker)
• Second thing Unlike other South States in Maharashtra in many Villages their are no cable connections so the shop owners sell them free dish and village people install dd free dish and unwantedly they get crap hindi channels and they miss their own mother tongue aka Marathi channels.
Also Maharashtra is a big state and mumbai is a cosmopolitan city where daily many people come and earn.
• Third thing I live in Pune here and also in my Hometown in Satara no one watches hindi channels other then Telugu dubbed movies, mostly here people watch Marathi channels and movies
• Only in villages people watch South dubbed movies or else in cities like Mumbai people move towards hindi movies, not TV channels always as we Marathi people don't feel anything culturally similar to us on that hindhi/urdu channels.
In coming days Marathi people will watch only and only Marathi channels. Just wait and watch.
If you don't want that it should happen then do what you want!

At first before 1999 their were no private Marathi channels because of which many Marathi people shifted to hindi but currently if you see many people watch Marathi channels and who are multilingual watch more Marathi programs and channels then hindi ones because of which no.1 channel in Maharashtra is Marathi channel.
