UK telco BT has finished adding the BBC iPlayer service to its hybrid DTT+IP television service 'BT Vision', after starting the rollout at the end of last year.
BT Vision subscribers can now access over 400 hours of BBC television programmes on-demand and for free, including The Apprentice, EastEnders and Top Gear, and more than 1,000 hours of radio programming.
This replaces the smaller selection of BBC programmes previously available on-demand on BT Vision's 'TV Replay' service, which remains available and offers catch-up programming from other broadcasters, including ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
BT added 30,000 subscribers to BT Vision in the first quarter of this year, bringing the total to 575,000 customers.
