BBC launches first original YouTube channel (complete with a show dedicated to cute baby animals)

BBC Worldwide, the corporation's commercial arm, has launched its first YouTube channel consisting of entirely original content.
Called Earth Unplugged, it was created by the global natural history unit BBC Earth, and the corporation says it will become 'a destination site for wildlife and nature', offering a range of new films created for a digital audience by BBC Earth Productions.
The channel is BBC Worldwide's first original-content service on YouTube, and is expected to be the first of many.

YouTube.com/EarthUnplugged is currently showing videos for seven new natural history shows:
~Earth Juice is a weekly news show discussing the latest discoveries in the natural world.
~Meet My Planet features interviews with people with a passion for nature, including explorers, naturalists, filmmakers, artists and musicians.
~Deadliest... is a YouTube exclusive spinoff of the BBC's Deadly 60, featuring the 'ultimate showdowns from the planet's deadliest animals'.
~Walking with Dinosaurs brings exclusive dinosaur videos for Earth Unplugged, including the new sketchosaurus.
~Earth Files takes nature stories and gives them a digital makeover with graphics and music.
~Zoo La La travels the world to explore extraordinary animal behaviour. It also features the Bugface insect show.
~Amazing Animal Babies features the stories of cute baby animals.
