Sony/Zee possibly looking for Exclusive Digital Rights and Satellite Broadcasting Rights Star acquired means still they have to Share matches with DD/DDFD except Domestic events. I don't think BCCI will bundle Both Broadcast and Digital Rights to any Broadcast company.

Even Viacom18 tries hard for digital rights only. So, they can cover up gap between IPL to IPL.

Viacom18 not interested on Boring Broadcast Rights, Whatever Viacom18 done during IPL auction, same thing Zee/Sony looking too Repeat and E-auction or closed bids auction doesn't matter for them, because nothing left for Sony/Zee.

But for Zee/Sony sustain in Indian market is important. whoever acquire they will play with viewers. except Jio Cinema maybe Sony/Zee or Star looking for Sublicensing Rights if they acquire Rights. Viacom18 only have big opportunities looking to expand their own Business from Cricket/BCCI media Rights.

If all broadcasters should boycott BCCI's TV rights, then BCCI can give it to DD for free.
