Why should Star compete against global brand like MTV when they got Dangal 2 to go for?
Haha! So you are comparing Star with Enter10. Already Star has Star Plus, Star Bharat and Star Utsav. Why they need another re run channel? They don't have a music channel or a youth centric channel, so bindass could be a option for rebrand as a youth centric channel.

Star Utsav 2 sounds like Dangal 2. Even the content will be rerun like Dangal 2. So a worthy competitor.

Even Channel V was a global brand snd honestly in India its programming was far better than MTV since long time

Also buddy u always just comment against shut down of channels by Disney-Star, what about good channels like Sony, Sony Rox HD, Sony Le Plex HD, Zee ETC, Zee Next, FYI TV18 , Zee Q etc which were discontinued by rival networks.... U never comment on them? Also sorry to say this ur comments seem to look like u r anti Disney-Star as even u just keep criticizing all their other channels too on regular basis without praising them for any good things

Channel V was great. The shows it produced were great. They could exist as a hybrid music and youth channel. Sadly, people who owned it didn't appreciate it and shut it down for an unwanted sports. They already had 8 English language sports channels. More than enough to air live content simultaneously. Leave alone Hindi and regional channels.
