Good decision. Tatasky is the worst I've ever used. Videocon would've been better but dish tv is also good. I used tatasky hd just for 1 day. It was totally rubbish.

Why should I use tatasky with a 2.5 lac tv? Sara maza khrab kar diya tha.
I've used all the dth stb's. In picture quality airtel hd and videocon hd are unmatchable.

Bro, as you are saying Tatasky is worst in picture quality then let me correct you that Tatasky is the only dth with the best picture quality. And as far as it concerned to me, let me tell you bro that I am opting Dish Tru HD only because of its 37 HD channels and its tendency of adding newly launched HD channels within a week of its launch, that too I will decide after diwali when I will find that Tatasky has not added some more HD channels on its platform, which I hope, will be added before diwali.

No, bro I will keep it and when dth portability will start in 2015 by Modi-Sarkar then I will reuse it for my another Dish tru hd connection for my other TV.

Guys, I had also decided to move to Dish True HD after Diwali, but as I have been assured by Tatasky that within a month or two but before 31st dec. Tatasky will add 8 HD channels on its platform, I have decided to wait for two more months than I will decide about moving to Dish True HD. I will suggest you guys also to wait for two more months as you have waited for so long, two more months you can wait, who knows we don't have to change our dth as our desired HD channels may got added on Tatasky in these two months.
