Cable TV operators in South India observe channel blackout today. They switched off all channels today for protest against new trai rule. This are the demands

1. Reduce pay channel price from 19 rupees to 10 rupees.
2.Reduce GST 18% to 5% for cable TV subscribers.
3. Increase BST price to 200 from 130 for 150 channels.
4.reduce rental charges for electricity posts.
