Actually MSO's are hesitant to prepare DPO bouquets all over again, 'Steep' rise was when NTO originally came into effect, this is just an ammendment, Don't know but if every DTH has effectively implemented new NTO, MSO's may start losing subscribers in a week if not in a day or two if this continues.
 
Cable tv users faces more pain due to price increase in bouquets as they are unable to do change their monthly packs in apps like DTH users, so they will bear the montly bill of Rs 400 or above fixed by MSO/LCO now or blackout.

Trai Channel Selector is now available bro. Cable tv viewers can change their package through this app. However, they cannot pay or activate their STB online. They are bound to pay bill to LCO only.

LCO can’t change packs as per user needs, they simply implements General package or all in one pack for all users.
