SCV Analogue seems to have removed Zee cafe. The only general English channel has now been lost. Hope they either provide Zee Cafe or AXN so people can have access to english programs.

Dec 31, 2015 is the last deadline for DAS. There is an order from TRAI to the broadcasters to disconnect signals to the MSOs who are still running Analog. So, analog should come to an end now.

There are four MSOs whose registration has been cancelled, Kal Cables of Chennai, Digicable of Mumbai are large MSOs who have not been given security clearance. SCOD18, another local MSO of Mumbai has also been denied security clearance. S R Cable of Bangalore has shut down its services.

Is the Kal (SCV) cable license cancelled by MIB? then how come they still there in chennai region or is it the effect will come from Jan 1.

Another news, Arasu removed TEN channels from its network (in chennai , i believe it discontinued in other parts of TN also). So we can't trust Arasu also in future.

same story like last year. LCO, MSO, Broadcasters are cool with no announcements so people not worried.

First not many STB in stock to seed second the recent flood will drag this issue as releif is more important.

Chennai , Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur Districts are there in the MIB Phase III digitilization list.
I believe we can see some change from Jan 1st.

SCV has got stay for license issue so no worry and Arasu too has support to continue analogue so seems no immediate danger for chennai analogue.

The Kal cable license cancelled news in cable quest dated on : Tuesday, 08 December 2015 13:05, it is not the older one.
Even if SCV got stay for license, MIB not renewing their license once it got expired.

NEWS 7 TAMIL, MK TV removed from SCV Analog..
Seems more channels to be removed to black-out analog before 31st Dec-DAS deadline..

Arasu too has support to continue analogue so seems no immediate danger for chennai analogue.

Why it has to continue analogue? They cannot continue analogue only because they didn't get the license and awaiting for it. Everything will be cleared on 01-Jan-16.

Though Arasu supports analogue, there is another order to the broadcasters to not provide signals to MSOs if they are continuing analogue. So, if no broadcasters are giving their signals, then continuing analogue is nothing.

I am sure Sun network will stop their signals to Arasu for sure.
