After the much spoken about exit of host Kapil Sharma from Colors and an equally hyped introduction of the new format of Comedy Nights, there have been inevitable comparisons and often heated social media reactions about the fate of the new show.

Putting these speculations to rest, the latest BARC ratings( sourced from BARC subscribers) indicate that the premiere episode of the new show ‘Comedy Nights Live’, which is hosted by actor Krushna Abhishek , garnered an impressive viewership rating of 8:8 million ratings , while Kapil Sharma’s last appearance on ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ (CNWK) managed 4:1 million in viewership ratings, almost half in comparison.

According to available data, the highest ever rating of CNWK was 11.8 millon when Bollywood superstar Salman Khan shared the stage with Kapil Sharma. With just few weeks into the new format of the show, the latest ratings clearly indicate that Krushna Abhishek and Colors have managed to spin the magic yet again.

The new show and speculations about its performance in comparison to its earlier format have been the mainstay of many entertainment reports and debates, but going by the latest BARC ratings, this popular Colors show is here to stay.

The ratings were high bcoz everybody wants to make a compare with CNWK but to know the reality they should give the ratings of 2nd episode

Apart from the viewers, even the rival networks raised TRP's as they watched how can it do well without Kapil,Especially SONY and StarPlus as they tentitively signed /were in talks with Kapil for his upcoming on their respective channels.

The CNWK itself became repeatative.. colors should have ended a show.. right thr.
