Then if I take 25 dd channels and star buquet of 50rs then I want pay nearly 100rs ??

I am not sure if NCF will be charged for DD channels as its mandatory from GOI.

For the star pack u take, u will have to Pay Rs 50 + the NCF for the number of channels in that pack.

TRAI should have included Taxes within MRP of the Bouquets.

Charging 18% GST and NCF - Rs.130 is huge burden for rural customers who used to get all SD Channels at Rs.150pm only.

It's not a question of GST alone as local body like Municipality or Panchayet is authorised to collect Entertainment tax if they fell necessary. So it cannot be universal for whole India as some municipality can charge entertainment tax whereas other does not. Example is delhi where many DTH had seperate pack for delhi users as Delhi govt chaged extra tax on top of GST. I think Punjab also has imposed similar tax on DTH/cable

If this happens then I am happy

@Siva bro, to make things more clear, have a look at this thread the 1st Pic

Breaking News - VK Digital Important notice

It says Pay Rs 130+GST for 100 FTA channels, it doesnt say Rs 130 irrespective if u take 1 or 50 channels

@Anish Pai bro It doesn't say anything about choice bro. It says pay 130, where does it say they will charge NCF according to the consumer's choice. On the other hand look at the below pic shared in another thread.

dth1545719607.jpeg

In the pic, Siti Cable says, 130 is mandatory and just for telugu SD channels, consumer needs to pay 244.

I don't have any confusion w.r.t TRAI order. The order has the provision that allows DPOs to charge NCF at channel level or bouquet level. However, I doubt if that will be followed properly. People like us who follow forums like this with lot of understanding are banging our heads. Moreover, we are using DTH, which are sophisticated and have websites through which we can do whatever we want with the knowledge we have. What about people living in villages/rural areas? They will just have to follow what their cable operator says. Above pic is a classic example of what's going to happen in villages. They are gonna charge them like anything for just the basic channels. God save those people.

Note: In addition to 25 channels of DD, a consumer can
also choose 20 more FTA Channels of his/her choice
without any additional charges.
These lines are written in trai's new suggestive packages...

Trai should clarify this 130rs thing and implement it properly
