Discussion Confusion clearing thread regarding TRAI rate changes effective 1st February

It's not postponded. TRAI secretary said in the interview that there'll be a smooth transition as it's not possible to change packs of each & every customer in a single day.
They'll provide a timeline in which customers have to take their channels. Notification banner will come on TV if a customer doesn't select channels & then the transmission will be stopped.

TRAI must have understood that migrating so many customers is not possible in 3 days so they have made a timeline to compete the same in few days

Aree bhai, thats for 100 SD channels bro, not if someone wants less than 100 why should he pay Rs 130 ??? 100 SD channel is just a cap made by TRAI so that DPO understand it better, but subscribers are getting confused.

Say Rs 1.3 for 1 SD channel and Rs 2.6 for 1 HD channel.

Now also minimum 150 + gst for ala carte pack or minimum 170 if they select 99+one regional pack.
