And matter becomes more complicated for almost 90% viewers who always prefers simple plan in understandable format.
Wonder how this rule is in favor of consumers ?
& what is Free here ?
In reality it's extra expansive than any of previous plan.
Exactly it is so much expensive then previous rates

1. NCF should be ₹1 (with tax) per channel, no 130 minimum rule.
2. NCF should be waived off for DD channels.
3. 15% bouquet cap should be implemented, to bring down MRP.
4. TRAI should ensure channels availability on all DTH.
5. Channel MRP should include GST.

1. We can expect the NCF come down in coming days as ₹130 is the limit
2. Just suspect that NCF is for 76 channels and DD channels are mandatory.
3. If implemented how is MRP lowered?
4. Then what would be the difference between service providers?
5. Why should broadcasters edit MRP if government increase or decrease tax?

3. Broadcasters can't bundle crap channels with popular channel and force it on us then.
4. DTH should compete based on quality, service, price, value added services etc.
5. All products in the market are doing it.

Rs.130+ GST is not a minimum rule but it is a maximum rule. As per TRAI stipulation, no dpo should charge more than Rs.130+GST for 100 FTA channels. If operator wants he can offer it for a lesser price.

Nope. Despite multiple posts here making it clear that NCF can include both FTA and Pay channels you've again made a wrong statement. Don't get confused with BST which is again totally different and that isn't mandatory for subscribers to take.

Thanks for your correction.
I quote Q.No. 33 and answer to it in FAQs released by TRAI :

"33. Can a Distributor give a discount on prescribed ceiling of Rs.
130/-?
Ans: Under the new framework, the ceiling for Network Capacity Fee has been kept at
Rs. 130/- per month. Distributors may charge lower than this amount."

That is what I understood.

@WizarD is saying TRAI should have done it differently through those points he gave. For instance, he's saying it would have been better if TRAI fixed a per channel NCF and no limit on it instead of fixing 130 per 100 channels upper limit.
