Also it won't be just about the money customers have to pay, even the quality will suffer eventually. By taking out pricing from operator(DTH/MSO/LCO) control, pricing will be more or less same across them, leaving no incentive for them to maintain quality and good service.Yes. Under the pretext of "saving customers from high costs of DTH Operators", now in fact every person is paying more. The only people who will effectively pay lesser are the ones who "dont watch any TV" at all.
This is quite clear, TRAI is killing all competition. How doesn't this violate the Competition Commission of India's basic policy to maintain healthy competition among players in a level-playing field? Also it won't be just about the money customers have to pay, even the quality will suffer eventually. This is what media outlets are reporting and it's very misleading. The 153 that you pay is a fee that everyone has to pay mandatory. You can include pay channels too but let me remind you that one has to also pay the Mrp of the channels/bouquet too on top.It is been told that within the ₹153 we can choose pay channels and their can be included in that amount unless its sum exceeds ₹153. Is it true?
