That isn't reason.Reason is for ESSHD.

When taking BCCI rights,star ceo Uday Shankar said that they hoped much upon subscription fees rather than advt. to recover these cricket righs costs post digitalisation. lol
So bad day for us post digitalisation as the subscription costs for specifically sports content will be sky high.:''(

From FEB 1st 2013 the hike price will affect those customers who recharge for long term before
Feb 2013 ,they will get offer of old package rate as per the the term and condition .
