i think it is not a good logo. looks very bad.

All DD logos are very bad nowadays. Previous DD national logo was good compared to new one. Same with stars sports. I wonder why don't they follow sky sports type logo.

DD logos are designed keeping in mind general public as we know freedish subscribers are in different category. So they must have designed simple logo accordingly to reach out people keeping in mind that the logo should look similar when hindi is used.
Its just like sky sports logo is designed keeping in mind genre & the people its reaching.

Name change process done very early because neither dd announce new name officially nor change name on their official website.

Their official website has been updated if you have checked recently.
